San Fransisco Airport or Oakland Airport is about ~115 miles from Carmel Valley Ranch (2 hr drive). The easiest option is to fly non-direct into Monterey Regional Airport, which is about ~20 miles away (15 min drive/Uber ride).

Carmel Valley Ranch has plenty of rooms and will be the most convenient as this is where all of the festivities will take place. That being said, there are plenty of accommodations in the area. Accommodations in Carmel Valley will be closest to Carmel Valley Ranch. Carmel-by-the-sea (downtown Carmel) is on the ocean and about a 16 min drive/Uber ride. Downtown Monterey and the Pacific Grove area is also gorgeous, on the ocean, and only ~20 min away. Please see "travel" tab to explore accommodations. You really can't go wrong. It just depends on your preference of proximity to CVR, if you want to rent a car or Uber, etc.

In October, Carmel Valley typically has average temperatures of 76.8°F for the maximum and 46.7°F for the minimum. Think sunny, warm during the day and chilly at night.
